How Do I Install It?
To install the package, it must first be downloaded. The most current release can be found at http://rubyforge.org/projects/kansas. After downloading the package, unpack it. Inside of it one will find a README file and an INSTALL file. It's always a good idea to read both of these.
Kansas currently has a very, very simple installation script to use to install the package. To use it, just:
ruby install.rb
That's it. The library files will be installed and you'll be ready to use Kansas.
As it does appear that RubyGems is rapidly evolving into the standard packaging system, the next release will probably keep this same simple installer, but will add support for installation via RubyGems as well.
