Kansas
Welcome to Kansas' home on the web. Here you will eventually find a complete tutorial and API reference for Kansas, an object/relational mapping layer for the Ruby programming language. Currently, the first draft of the first 80% of the tutorial is available.
The tutorial assumes a knowledge of Ruby as well as a basic understanding of traditional interaction with databases in Ruby using the DBI package. The tutorial will guide one through an understanding of just what Kansas is and why one would want to use it through installation of the package and on to a complete exploration of how to best use Kansas in one's own software. It assumes a Kansas version of 0.0.4 or greater.
The Kansas reference is a nutshell overview on how to use the package along with access to the full rdoc documentation of the current Kansas release.
